91st Founding Anniversary of the CPC observed in Katmandu

On July 1st, 2012, International Department of the Communist Party of Nepal (Marxist-Leninist) organized a Talk Programme on “Nepal Policy of the CPC on the Changing Global Background”,  to mark the 91st anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, in Katmandu.
On the Programme Com. C P Mainali, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal (Marxist-Leninist) expressed sincere congratulations and well wishes to the Communist Party of China on its 91st founding anniversary and gave speech on the theme and H.E. Ambassador of the Peoples’ Republic of China to Nepal Mr. Yang Houlan took the paper on “Nepal Polity of the CPN on the Changing Global Background.” On the programme Dr. Narayan Khadka of  Nepali Congress, Mr. Rajan Bhattarai of  CPN(UML), Mr. N J Piter of  UCPN (Maoist), Mr. Jayanta Chand of RPP, Com. Chitra Bahadur K C of National Peoples’ Front, Com. Sunil Manandhar of CPN(United), Mr. Bharat Jung Upreti of RJP, Com. Pari Thapa of CPN(Unified), Com. Madhab Gyawali of CPN(Marxist), Com. Lok Narayan Subedi of CPN(United Marxist), Mr. Ram Babu Singh of Nepal Sadbhawana Party (A.), Com. Prakash Adhikari of CPN(United Marxist) and diplomats Com. Tanka Karki (Former Ambassador of Nepal to PRC), Mr. Hiranya Lal Shrestha (Ex. Ambassador of Nepal to Russian Federation), Mr. Manju Ratna Shakya (Chairman of Nepal Journalist Association) and leaders of the CPN(ML),  diplomats, scholars and the many other friends of China attended the programme and gave remarks and expressed their sincere congratulations and well wishes to the Communist Party and the people of China.
Addressing the programme, Com C P Mainali Said that Nepal and China have good and close friendly relations from their heart.  (See full version of speech of Com. C P Mainali :
www.cpnml.org.np/en/index.php). Com. Mainali, on the programme said that Nepal and China have good neighborhood and since very long era. The CPC has made numerous glorious achievements since it's establishment and has become the model for all the Communist Parties in the World. Nepal should actively draw lessons from the CPC in the experience of governing the country, and continue to deepen the win-win cooperation with the Chinese side for always supporting independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Nepal. Like that, he  “we are not only support of ‘One China Policy’ but also committed to strengthen it to all political forces in Nepal.”  He further said that the CPN(ML) will continue to make contributions to the development of the friendly cooperative relations between Nepal and China.  
 Similarly, Addressing the programme, Mr Yang Houlan reviewed the history of the CPC to lead Chinese people to win the victory against imperialist aggression and in socialist construction since its founding in 1921. Mr. Houlan elaborated Chinese foreign policy and the international relations of the CPC under the background of the present world, which is undergoing tremendous developments, changes and adjustments. Mr. Houlan expressed his thanks to the CPN (ML) and all the attendants for their support for the Communist Party and the people of China. He hopes that under the joint efforts of the two countries, the comprehensive partnership of cooperation between China and Nepal will be pushed towards to higher level. The Talk Programme was presided by Com C P Mainali, General Secretary and the Chief of the International Department as well. CCM Com. Janak Chalise took welcome speech and CCM Com. Aendra Sundar Nembang gave vote of thank to the distinguished guests and the participants and Com. Kapil Pokhrel (www.kapilpokhrel.com), CCM and the Secretary of the International Department was Master of Ceremony of the Programme. The programme hold fruitful to strengthen the relation between the CPC and the CPN(ML) and between People of Nepal and China and it became the front to make the friendship between Political Parties of Nepal and the Communist Party and Peoples’ Republic of China as well.
